| Where to start, my name is Amanda. I go Manda or Mandy, and various other nicknames that have been give to me along the way. I am living in Sacramento on my own because I am tired of depending on other people. I have learned that the only person you can depend on is yourself. I am honest, always, and up front. I do avoid confrontation. My family is pretty much insane and I'm trying to escape their grasp, but you can't change your family. I am in school studying Criminal Justice and Biology, I just added the Biology degree so it's going to be at least another year of school until I can go on to get my Masters in Forensics. I am hoping to either work in a Forensics Lab with Ballistics, or to work directly with violent offenders. |
I used to have all kinds of dreams about how I wanted my life to be, but now I know that it's up to me to make sure I get the things I want and to make myself happy. All that I really want is to finish school, and get a job that challenges me. I am about to start writing a book at the encouragement of my father. I hope that if I do finish it that someone who touched my life, can touch others through the book. Other than that, I want to be happy, but happiness comes and goes. I don't depend on others to make me happy anymore, just me. So I need to continue to have the courage and will power to keep moving forward with my life. |
